Delta Airlines Resumes Nonstop Flights from JFK to TLV

Update: United Airlines now also confirmed they will start fly To TLV on Thursday.


Delta Airlines has confirmed the resumption of daily flights from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) in Israel. The first flight is scheduled to depart on Friday, June 7, 2024.

The airline suspended its daily flights to TLV on October 7, 2023, due to the ongoing war in the region. Delta has confirmed that the flights will resume with two daily departures, one on each direction, as was the schedule prior to the suspension.

Delta will operate the Airbus A330-900neo aircraft on the route. This aircraft offers passengers a comfortable and spacious cabin with great tech, and this aircraft has the Real Delta One suites.

The resumption of Delta’s flights to TLV coincides with United Airlines’ scheduled restart of daily flights on Thursday, June 8, 2024, which is still not confirmed. This marks the end of a seven-month period during which El-Al Israel Airlines was the only carrier offering nonstop flights between the United States and Israel.
